s t a g e o n e Leaving Skatay after an incident he is tight-lipped about, this viera made his way to Eorzea with large dreams from Skatay Range, Byun Hyun has encountered the trials and tribulations of adjusting to life outside. His first stop was Gridania, wanting to learn healing magic. This stop did not last long, as he heard talk of a for of divining using the cosmos. He moved on to Ul'dah, following an au ra who saved him, at least in mind. The two found themselves parting ways once the au ra move on to, wanting to be a monk. For a while, Byun tried playing music on the streets but an offer from a taller viera would change the trajectory of his life. Music brought in barely enough to survive, potions paid for food and rent but one's own body? Within months the viera found himself with enough gil to study in Ishgard.s t a g e t w o In Ishgard, he studied dilligently. He used runes to channel less direct means seeing, the cards in dire situations. In fact, he got quite good at it. It was at a nobleman's house, after making some quick gil, he saw a book that held other aspects of astronomy, what it could do and be used for. There was a near certainty the man wasn't supposed to have this book, or the knowledge in it. Still, Byun wrote down everything he could even if it would take multiple visits. It was putting this knowledge into practice, channeling too deep and too distantly into the cosmos that Byun found himself - - - -s t a g e t h r e e A powerful being by the name of Drek loosened the voidsent's hold on Byun quite accidentally. For four decades, the Viera's mind was scattered slowly, his memories failing him as the entity slowly made itself at home. Drek fixing the memories of Byun sent the void-creature out by pure luck. Not that it fully detatched from the viera. Still, Byun had-has no idea which way of acting is him anymore. The lessons he learned in Ul'dah & Ishgard, the mask to fool nobles and merchants, or the one the voidsent taught him, always smile and never show the truth.s t a g e f o u r After a long string of failed romances, starting during his possession, Byun has found love with his husband and a goal. To be an idol. Recently, he debuted to an audience 'of one' and performed for the first time on stage in front of a crowd shortly after. Still, the question of who he truly is lingers... and the memory of a different name he - - -
